Planning for hair transplantation is crucial for the success of the procedure. Good planning ensures that the transplanted hair looks natural. When planning for hair transplantation, factors such as the cause of hair loss, hair follicle structure, condition of the donor area, condition of the area experiencing hair loss, and the extent of hair loss are taken into account. The frequency of hair transplantation to different areas and the number of sessions required are determined during the planning process.

Hair Transplantation with the FUE Method

During hair transplantation, hair follicles are harvested from an area called the donor area and transplanted to the balding area. The FUE method is the most commonly used hair transplantation technique today. It allows for the extraction of more and healthier hair follicles from the donor area compared to the FUT technique.

Before the procedure, the patient's hair is trimmed appropriately for hair transplantation, and a natural hairline is determined. Both the donor and recipient areas are anesthetized locally. When harvesting the follicles, healthy hair follicles are individually extracted using a micromotor.

Each harvested hair follicle contains between 1 to 4 hair strands. The harvested follicles are kept in a special solution to prevent damage. Canals are then opened one by one in the recipient area, which has been anesthetized locally , and the hair follicles are placed into these canals. Once the follicles are placed, the procedure is completed.
