Labioplasty

What is Labioplasty?

Labioplasty is a surgical procedure performed to correct sagging of the vaginal inner lips and surrounding tissue due to various factors. Surgical operations to remove this sagging are called Labiaplasty. When one inner lip is longer than the other, labioplasty can correct the asymmetric appearance. Labioplasty surgery can be sought by those who are uncomfortable with the appearance of their vagina.

Operation Process

Labioplasty can be performed under local or general anesthesia. Excess skin on the deformed inner lips is removed with incisions. The operation is completed with self-dissolving surgical stitches. There is no need for a second procedure to remove the stitches; they fall off spontaneously within 10 days.

Postoperative Care

Hygiene should be maintained in the operation area, and the area should be kept dry. Avoid heavy exercise and activities for 1 month after the operation, and refrain from sexual intercourse. Do not shower for the first 24 hours after the operation.
